About Bank

The bank derives its name from the Goddess Umiya, kuldevi of Kutch Kadva Patidars. The bank was founded way back in 1998 by blessings of Maa Umiya and rigorous efforts of its founder directors under the astute leadership of Shri Jiwrajbhai Patel and Shri Babubhai Patel.

The idea of the bank was conceived to overcome the hardships faced by the lower strata of the society in securing finance for their small ventures, building or acquiring their dream home, vehicles, education and hosts of other petty financial needs. The bank was started on meager capital base of Rs. 31.40 lacs which has now reached at Rs. 286.59 lacs. The bank is offering financial solutions through its 6 branches located in Nagpur, Amravati and Mouda.

The founders of the bank are mainly from business community and include reputed professionals viz. Advocates, Doctors, Chartered Accountants and social workers who work tirelessly for astounding progress of the bank and thereby contributing to the society. The bank boasts of a very dedicated team of employees who is one of the pillars of the success of the bank and who have scripted new standard in customer experience. The bank has adopted technology right from its inception and has imbibed service oriented approach in its culture.

Bank, in its journey of two decades, has traversed various peaks and valleys and made itself robust enough to weather any rough storm. Through its journey, the bank has gathered many awards and accolades rewarding its seamless efforts in social service.
